The sunlit meadow is full of sunlight, and it is close to the border with Colcannon. The kind pack doesn't fight over this sliver of territory very much because it is so small. Nursing mothers and their pups come here often to bathe in the light from the sun in the summer and spring, and others come to hunt the birds, rabbits, and mice that always are plentiful.
