I'm Zapz, aka Jenn- or really whatever you wanna call me. I saw you guys pop up as an affiliate on another site I RP on, checked y'all out and loved it all.I've had Zapz up and going for about 4 years now, and she's usually ridden the line between good and evil- but I can definitely see her pulling the weight of paranoia, maybe it'll worsen into schizophrenia later in the game.
IRL: I'm a farmer, I've got over 50 sheep and we're expecting at least 150 lambs this spring- already we have ewes that are bagging(meaning their udders are filling up&it's getting closer to lambing time) I have three Border Collies that I have to work out every day, a horse who needs riding and chores that always need to get done. Not to mention, I'M on call for my local horse barn(they call me when they need me) So, my activity will be as strong as it can be. Oh, I'm also still in school! Haha, so yeah- I'll try to get online at least everyday- and yeah. ^^
I can't wait to see this site grow :3
An a question or two, well maybe three. A. When do we think Alpha Auditions are going to be? Do we need to have more members and a higher activity on FS before it happens, if so I can probably get a handful of people to join here. B. If you do become an Alpha, do you then get to make up your own ranks/rule system for the pack? Or do we keep the one placed up by the admins?
C. Could we get a character log so we can keep track of our threads- if not, I'll just use my notes to do it ^^ Never mind, I've got it down x]
Thanks!
PS- I love the live preview, but it keeps freezing my browser [angry fist shake] devilish machine!

I think that you already heard this from me before, but welcome to Fragile Shadows! To be a farmer sounds awesome, I'd love having three dogs, although I'm really not a fain of sheep. lol. I have a dog named Savannah, and she is a Catahula Leopard dog, and that's all. (You may count my little brother as a monkey, though). We used to have a border collie, but he was much too aggressive, attacking my other dogs, so we sadly had to get rid of him, and whenever we moved, we had to get rid of my aussie, Sydney. We only got to keep one dog. D:
I'll answer those questions for you. For A, we do need more members to make the auditions... more fair I guess. Maybe 20ish before I post one up, so it could be a month. I used to get members so fast. :c But that would be wonderful if you could get us more members- the more the merrier! Thankies! The staff auditions will be held when we have 30ish members, and we will be looking for one or two mods, perhaps even another co. admin.
Whoever becomes the first alpha of Retronym, you can make up your own rules for the pack. As for the ranks, I would like them to stay the same. Whoever wins the alpha auditions (lets say a male wins. he will make the rules and will look for a Queen for his pack. since Nepenthes and Colcannon already have an alpha, there will be no auditions for them. My cousin and myself will look for our mates according to the most active person, the nicest, the one our character likes best, and what the bios say).
Thanks, I do love it too. Sometimes it does freeze, but not often for my computer. c: My old friend on another website found it for me. I thank her for that, but sadly, she deleted her account because she was so busy with life. D:
Other than that, does that answer your questions? c:

Jynx, my BC- his dam had fear aggression, she'd nip at people randomly. After a few years she grew out of the habit, of course, there was plenty of training in between! I'm sorry to hear that he was so aggressive D: and that sucks you had to give up your dog. When I was younger and we moved ff the first farm into a more urban place we had to give up our Australian Cattle Dog, Blue- he kept wandering off for days on end. We kept our sheltie Alfie- then we moved to the farm we're at now and got a second Sheltie Daisy- then Shasta our first Border Collie(Jynx's mom) Alfie started getting seizures as he got older and was put to sleep, We got Tar another Border - he bred Shasta who then died two weeks after delivering her litter- and Daisy got hit by a car when my dad left the gate open a few months later. So we were left with Tar and a litter of pups, my mom gave them away to good pet homes- one pup died at a year old after getting into horse dewormer, the runt had died three days after birth- Bear went to an agility home, Cassie went to my grandparents, Cloe went to a pet home, and Jynx stayed with me :3 We just adopted Kit a few months ago.
xD RAMBLING! Farming is pretty awesome- and I'm procrastinating about going back out into the wind and snow to do my chores. But now I'm actually going- before it gets to dark out and well, before my mom gets home xD
&&Yes that gets my questions done and answered. OH OH Is there a possibility we could add to the ranks or add more detail to their descriptions?

Gaw. That's horrible, I'm so sorry. D: Only two pets that I know died, but someone poisoned my cat when I was one. A few years ago, the runt of my dog's litter died after one day. He was only one ounce, while the largest puppy was twelve. All seven of the others lived, though. I'm guessing that most runts die when they are born. :/ My six week old cat got crushed under our chair when I was in second grade. It was sad, but good thing I was a school when it happened. His name was Lucky, but he wasn't so lucky. My cat had a litter of kittens, and he was the runt. He wasn't breathing when he was born, but my now-seventeen-year old sister saved him when she was like, twelve.
I LOVE BABY PUPPIESSSS! My dog, Savannah, had a litter of seven, and my other dog, Sadee, had a litter of eight, but the runt died... yeah. Sadee ran away after all of her puppies found homes.
This is random, but I'm against killing in the pound. I feel sorry for all of those animals in there, and I wish I could rescue every single one. We used to always adopt animals from the pound, like my cat that got poisoned, four more cats, and three dogs we rescued, but now we can't have over one pet in our rented house, so I really can't.
For that question, yes. If you did become the Queen, you would message me and tell me what you wanted to add. ^^ I would most likely approve of it as long as it wasn't so much changes, like adding ten more ranks. Retronym has the most possible ranks out of all of the packs.

D: I'm sorry about the losses- we can't usually keep cats at all around here. ><; We have serious predation, but we have four cats right now, Roscoe who we adopted as a barn cat, he was an ally cat in Springfield Mass. Then we've got Pumpkin who we got when we picked up Tar from the ACO the 3rd time he went looking for the sheep. Then we've got Ronny and Hunter, Ronny and Hunter are expecting Kittens >] Hunter's a big dadd'eh haha. I loved it when my pups were still pups- they smelled, but it was all part of it. Since Shasta died when they were so young we had to hand raise them. THAT was fun. Cleaning, feeding, playing [sigh] good times. My mom wanted to keep Callie(the pup who died from the dewormer) because she had the best eye- which is what you want in a herding dog. I wanted to keep Jynx because he was down right adorable, was quiet and did things a bit slower than the rest of the pups. She almost gave him up since it was him and Bear that were left aside from Callie and there was a lady who was coming to pick out an agility dog. She took Bear, and then my mom gave Callie to a friend because his dog who was the mirror image of Callie had been stolen. I was at boarding school at the time- so when I came home I saw Jynx chillin on the front porch and freaked out! I was so happy xD If you ask me he's the best herding dog we've got ;] TAKE A LOOK!We adopted a dog from the local shelter- Symba, he was a great dog! He was a order Bcollie/great pyrenees mix. :3 We had to give him back because he attacked a lamb- 7 stitches and $800 later the lamb survived. He also killed one of our cats- but he was a great dog. I got him a harness and his job was pulling the grain sled through the snow, and pulling me up the road on my skateboard. He looved that- Symba would get all excited when I'd change after school and go near his harness. Then he'd book it down the road, my neighbors all thought I had the best idea with that. xD Haha! Nah I wouldn't add 10 ranks, that'd be way to much xDD But if I did become Queen I'd probably just make the descriptions evil- well, who cares about that now xD We're far from it at this point lol

It's s'okay. I'm sure that has happened to a lot of people. I love puppies and kittens. They are so cute! c:
I LOVE puppies. They do stink, but they are so adorable that I don't mind it. And that video was cool, the sheep looked awesome. What was that huge white tent-looking thing that he was trying to herd them into or something?
He did? Aw, poor little sheep! D: I feel sorry for it, but at least it survived. And little kittie! *whimpers* lol, my old border collie used to do that, only I was on my bike or scooter.
Mkay. It won't be a long time from now if we all advertise and I affiliate, and if we tell a lot of people about this site. I told my sister, but she doesn't RP much anymore. She used to be so wonderful at it, but I suppose she lost her muse.

Thanks- he doesn't know the normal commands 'Away To Me' and ' Come By'- but the ones he does know get the job done just as well. If I take him out daily, then I don't have to speak at all, just a hand motion now and then to get him back on track. The big white thing is a Hoop House, we're using it as a shelter like the small huts further back. :] He wasn't herding them into it- he was bringing them into the Holding Pen where we give them their grain. There was another video of him taking them out and then doing something else xD I can't remember haha.

-nod- Aw, so that what it was. I knew it was some sort of shelter, but I was just wondering what it was going to be called. Selph is a border collie x grey wolf. c:
lol, it's s'okay. Right now we have very good amount of snow on the ground, around a foot, and it hasn't melted in a week. It's been on the ground for so long now. My dog LOVES the snow. We just moved from Texas to Illinois, and she adores it so much. Like a cold heaven to her, but I hate it. I wish I could go back to the warmth. XD
