A Cold On A Cold Day

Seebu sighed and collapsed to the ground. His limbs ached, and he longed to stretch them, but he was too tired. Seebu had just patrolled around the whole territory, and also hunted a bit, too. It was extremely exhausting, and now he was shattered.

Weary golden eyes slowly looked up to the sky to see what that large, floating blue atmosphere was up to. It was clear. No snow, but lots of cold... his mind registered. Sometime along those thoughts Seebu regained enough strength to deliver a gaping yawn which revealed his long white fangs. Soon enough, however, the jaw closed and there was now only a tired timber wolf on the ground.

The dark wolf twitched his shoulders and pushed himself to get up, tightening his muscles and pulling his massive self - ninety-seven pounds and all - upward. It hurt, but it was worth it once Seebu rolled himself to relax his muscles, as well as stretching his legs. It was comforting and great... now he could just go off and fall asleep somewhere.

Seebu staggered across the icy clearing and shuddered from the cold, almost sneezing. "I'd better not be catching a cold," he mumbled. Unfortunately, he probably was. Once Seebu reached a good, covered spot (some shriveled bracken and a bare hawthorn bush), he slumped there and closed his eyes. It felt good...
