Plot.Plot. :3

Anger and confusion swarm the packs. Pups have been stolen, and fingers are being pointed. Colcannon claims Retronym has taken 2 of the alphas pups and are threatening invasion and war to get back the heirs. Retronym pleads innocence, but are becoming defensive over the threats. To blood thrifty for a fight Retronym considers themselves the better fighters and figure they could gain the extra territory, one step closer to domination of the forest. Nepenthes, sitting smack dab between the two try to hold out the peace but can't help but plead Retronym to return the pups which are still missing.

Whatever alliances had been formed are beginning to get rocky, the verge of hell and war stand in the shadows- one of the pups is found murdered on the skirts of Colcannon territory, with a single eye missing. The attack happens at the cover of darkness, Colcannon taking only it's best fighters- leaving behind the pups and elderly with few warriors for protection. Retronym meets the attack head on, sending a handful of Rhos into Colcannon to defeat it's den area where the rest of the pack is waiting.

Nepenthes tries to stave the attacks, but soon pulls out to keep it's own pack safe from the raging packs. It's there that the second missing pup is found; one of the members claims to have found it and kept it safe from the fighting. Nepenthes tries to get the other packs to realize the pup is alive and well- Colcannon turns on Nepenthes claiming they wanted a war between the two packs. Retronym continues its attack on Colcannon- simply wanting to take over the territory.

That is definitely a good plot.

Hm... What about the pups though? Did Nepenthes take them, or Retronym? I think we need to get roleplayers for the pups, and enough grunts in each pack to have suspiscion hurling around. What if there was no kidnapping, even? One of the pups could have just run away, on a childish impulse, and its sibling went after it? Then one of them was kidnapped/found by Nepenthes, and the other remains to be found?

This is the perfect way to start feuds between the packs - I don't know about everybody else, but I love it!

Agreed, we'd need pups and more grunt force in the packs- We could say maybe the pups went on an adventure, ran over pack lines and leave the rest to mystery as to how one pup was found at the border murdered missing an eye and the other in Nepenthes safe and sound.

Hm. I have a baddie that would be good for after this plot is done (which might be awhile)...

How about this:

After the war, while wounds are still fresh, this cold blooded cannibal comes charging into the forest, fresh from the dog fighting arena where he escaped from by killing a few humans. He leaves a bloody trail to the secluded area where these three packs live, killing livestock, pets, and woodland creatures. As soon as he arrives he joins Retronym (obviously) probably killing (and eating... ugh) or at least seriously maiming those who refuse him entry. He spreads ideas of greatness and conquest into the hearts and minds of the Retronym, pushing them towards taking over the entire land as their own.

As if this cold blooded killer wasn't enough to stir up trouble among the packs, the humans are now following his path of carnage. Soon, they will descend upon the homeland of these wolves/dogs and immediately deem them all killers. They then have to relocate, hide, or fight; ultimately banding together for survival.

A cannibal, eh? Well, if he's dog then getting into Retronym would be difficult unless he proved he was a needed asset. It could be interesting....

What does everyone else thiiink of both mine and Dragonflie's ideas?

I like my own! And I like Zapz'z too. If nobody likes either, then disease is always a good way to go...

Isn't your queen all about cannibalism? I thought he would be an easy fit... ruthless and cannabalistic. But whatever...

If Zapz becomes Queen then yes- but dogs aren't as large or strong as wolves, if the dog that escapes the fight ring proves his worth, then he'll be right in. But 99% of Retronym members are wolves.

If Arche becomes Queen, I'm not sure what she'd think of it- send her a PM so she reads this xD

I was going to make this dog have some wolf genes, along with any other big, strong fast dog's genes... Well, mabye not any. But some. As for proving his worth... I'd be interested to see what you sould cook up if you were queen...

First we have a war over these two missing pups, then we have a cannibal wolf bringing a handful of humans in their wake. Then disease spreads and wolves come down with what the Healers deem a curse. [nodnod] Interesting, let's buiiild on it

Okay! Fine! back to the plot! It's okay, I'll start some quality posting now!

War over pups. Check.
Cannibal wolf with a side of humans. Check.
Disease deemed curse by healers. Check.

What would the packs look like after the war? How far did Retronym go when they attacked Colcannon's den?

When I make the cannibal wolf/dog I'm going to give him super strength, just to increase his effectiveness. I think if Arche got Queen, she would be more likely to share the power of ruling Retronym with him, rather than Your charrie, Z, b/c she think she's got it made.

What would the cure to the disease be? I think it should be something ironic, like drinking from the demon lake to break the curse.
